LETTERS FROM OUR CLIENTS

SOME ARE GOOD SOME ARE BRUTALLY HONEST BUT ALL ARE FROM OUR CLIENTS. THROUGH THESE LETTERS WE LEARN TO BETTER OUR PROGRAM. I THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM FOR THEIR OPINION BECAUSE I FEEL ONCE YOU STOP LEARNING ITS TIME TO  TAKE DOWN YOUR SHINGLE

HERE ARE A FEW

Just wanted to let you know that we are LOVING Dahlia!!!!!!!!  She is the sweetest, cutest, most loving little thing I have ever seen.  I did not know puppies like this existed!!!!!!!  My girls are in heaven.  Dahlia seems to enjoy all the attention and love.  Thanks so much!

I'll be telling everyone I know that they HAVE to get a Goldendoodle - there is no other dog!!! :)

Jeremy and Jaime Terry

Hello from vilmarie and Adena,
I got Adena in June of '05 and we stayed in Montana for a year then moved to Florida where I'm originally from.
Now Adena is 2 1/2 and she has the canine good citizen certification and she is also a certified therapy dog with TDI.
On top of that people always comment on her wonderful personality, her beautiful behavior and how gorgeous she is and how unique and soft her hair is.
Thanks so much...for taking such pride in your puppies!

I'd be happy to recommend Dyanne as a breeder. I got Kramer last
>January. He came on a plane to me in Milwaukee. He handled the plane ride
>with ease and has never looked back. I love him to death. He is my
>constant companion everywhere I go. People can't get enough of him. His
>temperament is great, and gets along with other dogs too. I can't say
>enough good about him.He is also a beautiful rare  red  color. Check out the
>doodle discussion forum for lots of good reading about doodles. I'll send
>a picture . It's todays  pic just home from the groomers. Sue Dobs

Great choice to use Dyanne.
Her service was PERFECT
I have recommended her to several people
Her dogs are PERFTCT

I'm glad to hear that you're getting a doodle puppy! My dog is
wonderful, and I had no problem with Dyanne's service. I live in
Maryland, so it took 8 or 10 hours for my dog to get here, but he held it
pretty well.  When my dog  first arrived, he had some kennel cough, but
my vet said it's common and not a big problem. His cough did go away a
few days later without any medication. He has been pretty healthy ever
since, though he often got stomach sick by eating things he couldn't
digest when he was a puppy.
I don't know if you had any puppy before. You definitely need to be
patient for the first two months. Puppies like to bite (though not serious
bite), chew everything and cry whenever they are alone, so you need to
read one or two training books to learn the right method to handle them
and you need to be persistent.
I think you can trust Dyanne's service.

***********************

1) Are you happy with her service and the dog you got?
For the most part, Dyanne did a good job.  She had many litters due around
the same time and our name was lost in the shuffle of people, etc.  We
managed to get back on the list, but did not get the color we wanted
(looking for auburn, got white/blond).  That said, once you see your
puppy, the color is rather insignificant.  They are great dogs - very
cute, friendly, and wonderful companions.

2) Would you recommend her?
Yes, I would work with Dyanne again but I would be more clear about what
we were looking for.  Her assistant does not seem to be very organized and
misplaced our information from time to time.  I would stay on top of her
... mainly b/c her assistant seemed less than sharp.

3) Tell me about your "dood" experience  - tips, stories, pix are so so
appreciated.
We love Boomer, our goldendoodle.  I would prepare yourself for the high
side of the weight estimate.  We were told 50 - 70 pounds, but "probably
closer to 50."  Boomer is one year old, weighs 75 lbs and is still
growing.  Most doodles that I know weigh between 80 - 90 pounds.  I think
Dyanne has some healthy and large standard poodles, thus leading to the
large offspring.

We walk our dog all the time and receive more compliments than I can
count.  He is a beautiful dog with a great disposition.  Loves other dogs,
little kids, and all walks of life.  The world is his friend and he has
yet to meet anything he doesn't like (squirrel, bird, cat, dog, person, etc.)

Our dood is wonderful! He is very smart, was easy to train and is now the
best student in dog school. He is going to be big!
Dyanne was great and the kennel is very clean and well taken care of. We
visited there several times and personally picked up the puppy.
Good Luck,

We are in love with our dood!  She is the most well-mannered, sweetest
thing!  She was housebroken at 4 months, plays well with my children (13
boy, 9 boy, & 2 girl) & my other dog (Springer spaniel).  I will get
another one at some point and it will be from Dyanne.  Yankee is just 6
months old and is as well behaved as any trained dog I have owned.  She
has a basket of toys, she gets a toy, plays with it then takes it back to
the basket, puts it in & gets another toy.  We did not teach her
this.  She retrieves very well, always has since we have had her.  She
swims too.  I have a lot of experience with different breeds, dog shows,
training, etc.  When I get a dog I am obsessed with research & finding the
right breeder.  My last 3 dogs have been Springer's and thought I'd never
change until I heard & researched the goldendoodle.  Dyanne is not a
talker, she does her business in a very matter of fact way.  I am very
pleased with Yankees health (thru the vet), her looks & her
disposition.  My best friend got her sister, Belle.  Yankee is black Belle
is apricot.  I have attached a photo of the 2 dogs in the boat.  Yankee is
much bigger than Belle & both are female.  I highly recommend Dyanne and
her doods.  Good luck, I hope this helps.  If you need any other help,
don't hesitate to ask.  Pepper Marcum

I got our dog "Dandy" as a present for my family for Christmas last
year.  Mostly for my mom and dad and my little brother as they are the
only ones still at 'home.'  My dad has typed a response to your e-mail
which you can read below.  Dandy is the best.  We all love him so so so
much.  He is loving and playful, very smart and extremely
trainable.  Dandy has been to the ocean and loves playing in the water, he
has even been backpacking.  Mostly he loves his home though and his family
- he is very loyal.  As my dad mentioned, you will need to cut the dog's
hair a couple of times per year.  It is cute when the hair is all grown
out, but it gets too long and hard to clean.  However, no shedding at
all.  I think that Dyanne does a great job with her dogs.  As soon as my
fiancé and I move into a bigger house, she will be the first person that
we contact to get a dog for ourselves.  I would definitely buy from her
again.  Let me know or my parents know if you have anymore questions.

Meghan

We very much enjoy our dog, "dandy".  He is a typical
1 year old, active, likes to play fetch with anything (that's the golden
retriever in him), doesn't shed at all, and when the hair grows out he
looks like a big furry lion.  We had ours clipped in the middle of the
summer with a "puppy cut".  The groomer said that in order to keep the
hair from tangling, you have to comb it out after every  bath.

We have been very happy with the breeder, believe that Diane does a good
job with her dogs.

Enjoy your dog.

We had a wonderful experience working with Dyanne from Heydood.com.  She
was very knowledgeable and quite helpful before our purchase and  after we
got our puppy as well.  Our dood is 2 years old now her name is
Kayla.  She is cream colored with a somewhat curly coat.  She has been a
wonderful pet - is very smart & loveable. She is great with people
(especially kids) and she loves to play with other dogs.  She needs
exercise (so we put in an electric fence and it was worth every penny we
spent on it!)

She adds so much joy and laughter to our family. I  highly recommend a
dood to anyone who wants a dog that will be a member of their family, not
just a pet! They love your attention and are so adorable you will fall in
love the minute you get one!

I love my dood - her name is Rags (or Ragsie).  She is the most even
tempered dog i've ever met.  Once, just once, she nipped at me, and i told
her no and she's never done it since.  She has a lot of energy, likes to
be around people - or know that they are around.  She is very attached to
me and my kids.  She's really quite smart - my neighbor says she thinks
she's part human!  Bad things - she digs - but that's really more my fault
then hers - she's bored.  She's very timid but LOVES to play with other
dogs.  Her loud bark (which she uses judiciously) makes up for her
complete lack of watchdoggedness!

We were very happy with Dyanne and HeyDood.  I have recommended her to
everyone who has written since we got our Maxine two years ago.  We love
our dog so much and are so happy with our choice.  She does not shed;
her hair does mat, so she gets groomed a few times a year.
I will send some pictures of Maxine.  She is two now and about 55
pounds.
Good luck with your puppy!!!

.  We love our dood, Oscar.  He is big and >beautiful and kind.  He's now 17 months old.  We bought him a brother,
Toby, a schnauzer poodle mix (schnoodle) who we also love.  We think
Dyanne is a very reputable and responsible breeder.  I think she produces
great pups- beautiful, wonderful temperments and healthy.  I am not sure I
could say as much about Toby's breeder!  I wish you luck in your search.

Dealing with Dyanne was great.  She's a little disorganized i think, so be
careful you get what you want (ie female or male - we almost got a >male!).  You might have to keep after here to make sure she got your
deposit and things like that.  She was absolutley true to her word on all
cases - and she was very careful about getting the dog to me (i live in CT
and she had to fly here).  I think she runs a top notch operation and i do
not hesitate to tell you to get a dog from her.  From talking to her, you
can tell she is a dog lover and knows them well.

My kids keep saying that getting Rags was the best thing we
EVER did.  She's fabulous and so cute and a love bug!

Good luck~

Dyanne was great to work with.  Always there to answer my calls and help

with any questions.  They have a spotless facility and she really loves her

doods.  Our dog Kylie is great.  I can't tell you how much my daughters love

her....even more than they love their Dad!!!!  I work at home and every call

I get during the day from my wife and girls starts with "How's Kylie?"  She

just turned 2 this September and is a great family pet.  She loves people

and is spoiled rotten.  I have attached some pics.

Feel free to email or call with any more questions.

We love our dog and the breed.  Dyanne was very good (sometimes tough to

reach).  Shipping was a little hairy as Ruby was shipped in Nov and there

are temperature limits set by the air lines.  I would highly recommend Hey

Dood.  Remember to ask lots of questions.  Enclosed is a photo of my girls.

You will be totally satisifed with Dyanne.  The Golden Doodle is a
wonderful dog - smart and loving.  You will fall in love for sure!

Our puppy had to be flown to us so she was rather messy when she
arrived.  Be sure and bring baby wipes and some towels for the clean
up.  Puppies usually get car sick so be prepared.  Also bring some plastic
bags for the used items.  They recommend using bottled water at first so
bring one with you in case it's thirsty.  Just keep using less bottled
water each day until it is eliminated from the tap water.  I'll attach a
couple of pictures of Chevy.  First picture is a camping picture and she
just had a puupy hair cut.  The second picture is recent with a bit more
hair.  She is 10 months old and weighs about 57 lbs.  They tend to be tall
because of the Poodle mix.  She is a great addition to our family.  Three
of us at my work purchased our dogs from Dyanne and we've all been very
happy with the experience.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND DYANE'S KENNEL FOR GOLDEN DOODLES. WE
HAVE NOT HAD ANY COMPLAINTS.  OUR DOOD, DIXIE, IS ALMOST SEVEN MONTH OLD
NOW AND WEIGHS ABOUT FORTY POUNDS. SHE IS VERY PLAYFUL,SMART AND LOVES TO
GO TO THE DOG PARK TO PLAY WITH OTHER DOGS. SHE DOES REQUIRE ALOT OF
ATTENTION BUT WERE BOTH RETIREDAND SHE GETS ABOUT WHAT SHE WANTS.  VERY
SPOILED.  WE HIGHLY RECOMEND DYAN'S KENNEL. WE WERE  SURPRISED AS TO THE
SIZE SHE HAS GROWN TO AND SHE IS NOT YET FULLY GROWN.  IF YOU ARE
CONCERNED ABOUT THE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THE LARGE DOODS, YOU SHOULD
CONSISDER THE NEXT SISE DOWN.  OUR NEIGHBOR ACROSS THE STREET JUST GOT A
SMALLER VERSION WHERE THE MOTHER IS A MINATURE POODLE INSTEAD IF A
STANDARD POODLE.  IN ALL WE ARE VERY PLEASED. GOOD LUCK, BOB

I have two doods from Dianne and they are both great.  In addittion, one
of our close friends has another pup from the same litter (Sierra/Simba)
and I have recommended the dogs to two people in my office who also have
puppies from Dianne and my Brother in Law's family who just got a puppy.

They are smart, incredibly cute and sweet.  Ours have been easy to train,
I think the key is, much like any puppy, they need exercise and
play.   Great to have a dog park nearby to let them get all the puppy
energy out.  They aren't nervous or nippy (other than the usual puppy
stuff), friendly to people and dogs, great with kids (our niece who is
nine months old is constantly pulling on their puppies ears and he yelps
but he has never tried to fight back).

One of our Murphy is nearly white with very curly hair, almost looks like
a pure poodle, Stella, our girl from the same litter has Carmel color and
wavy fur. Virtually no shedding with either.  I'll try and dig up a couple
of digital photos, there are pictures of my dogs on Dianne's website, the
ones playing at the beach.

We love our Golden Doodle.  Her name is Kai and she is now 7 months old.
The whole thing has been a very positive experience.  Dyanne was extremely
helpful and I would recommend her highly.

1) Are you happy with her service and the dog you got?  Aboslutely !
2) Would you recommend her? Without hesitation :-)
3) Tell me about your "dood" experience  - tips, stories, pix are so so
appreciated.  send out something with your scent on it for her to have for
her trip to you. Stay with her for the first 72 hours. when you walk her
in the yard don't use a leash if you have that luxury- when she starts to
go off you go the other way....very shortly you will find no need to
restrain her. Training early is well worth the time -  lots of love and
excersise and healthy foods watch the weight! slim dogs are healthy !

if you decide yes, you will not be dissapointed

We got Winnie from Dyanne in June, she is 6
1/2 months old. We actually flew to Montana to pick
her up because we wanted to see where she was coming
from. Dyanne is great, she is definitly in the puppy
breeding business but I never got the puppy mill
feeling. The kennels are imaculate, she takes great
care of her dogs and the puppies. You get the feeing
these are her pets not a business. Winnie is amazing,
very smart breed, very loving, usual puppy stuff but
this one has been easier than in the past. Anyway,
highly recommend Dyanne and the breed is amazing.

Put your fears to rest.  Dyanne was awesome.  We were happy with the entire
transaction, and highly highly recommend a her puppies.  Our Monty is sweet,
gentile, very smart, playful and is such a love.  We are so happy.  Of
course we have the normal puppies problems, but all in all, I have never
been so in love (of course except for my husband!).

transaction was smooth and professional. Everything as promised. Good luck.

Our "Mikey" dood just turned one year old last week.  He is an
intelligent, gentle, funny boy.  He has already earned his "Canine Good
Citizen" award, and will soon be certified as a Therapy Dog.  He grew a
little larger than we expected (95 pounds at one year) but his gentleness
outweighs that!!

I would recommend "Heydood" as a breeder.  I think they really strive to
produce quality pups, and they try their best to please the customer.  Our
Mikey was actually sold to someone in Japan, but when Dyanne found out
that he would have to be quarantined for a month upon arrival there, she
canceled the sale and put him back up for adoption.  She did not want one
of her puppies being put through one month of isolation. That is how we
got him.

Heydood has an excellent health guarantee, since the parents are screened
for health problems before breeding. That gives some reassurance that
there will be little chance of hip problems, or other health
concerns.  The puppies are well socialized and ready to be housetrained.

I think the biggest problem you should be aware of is the need for
constant grooming.  After about eight months, the dogs will need to be
groomed often.  Mikey goes to the groomer every three to four weeks, and I
groom him at home at least twice a week.  This balances out with the fact
that he doesn't shed.  I would rather groom than have dog hair shed all
over the house.  If you don't keep up with the grooming, the dog will need
to be shaved down to get all the knots out.  Of course some people like to
keep the dog's hair short, so then grooming won't be a problem.  We keep
Mikey's hair pretty long.

Hi

Our Nugget is six months old, healthy, happy,  great disposition.  Yes, we
would definitely buy another dood from Dyanne, from our experience she has
wonderful pups.  We were concerned about his trip by  air, but he did very
well.  He weighs 55 pounds at the present time and does not shed.  He is a
wavy haired doodle, not a real curly one. But they are all gorgeous.  Our
vet and groomer both love him.
Best of luck

Go for it! You will not regret it. Our dog is wonderful. We love him. He is
fun, sweet, loving, excitable, funny, smart and adorable. I think Dyanne is
great. I would love to get another one from her sometime. Our dog arrived
and was very well adjusted, calm and nearly housebroken. I have attached
photos. He's one of the best dogs I have ever had.

Good luck!

Dyanne,

Thanks for the information about Lucy.   And thank you for accepting my phone call regarding the new puppy from Sierra and Simba.  I won't be able to take the puppy due to the fact I am having a hip problem - and until it is resolved, I cannot take a little puppy who will need to be trained.  My dog, Murphy O'Hooligan, who is 8 months old - is the love of my life.  He is fabulous.  Thank you for the great care you gave to him from the day he was born until the day I picked him up.  I do want another dog from your kennel.  Your dogs/puppies are the best!  People everywhere we go want to know where I was able to find Murphy.  I have given your name and web site address to literally close to a hundred people.  I had researched 4 kennels prior to finding yours - and I have a dog from the BEST kennel.  I credit your care and loving concern to the welfare of my dog.  He had great care, plenty of good food, a terrific "mother and father", and your attention.  He came to me knowing how to use the dog door - and I must tell you that he NEVER ONCE had a bathroom issue in the house.  He was trained from day one to go outside.  Now, he waits at the door quietly, and when he goes out, he immediatey takes care of his business, and returns.  He seldom barks, has absolutely no shedding, is hypoallergenic, and loves everyone.  His special love is other dogs - my goodness, but he loves to play and doesn't know a stranger.  We walk every day or evening for about an hour and a half - and he is very strong.  His manners are impeccable - and he is the star student in his training class.  I am preparing him for both therapy work and obedience competition.  He will do well with both.  Currently he is in training for both obedience and rally competition.  At 8 months, people are amazed at his finely tuned intelligence.  I thank you, Dyanne, from the bottom of my heart for helping me with the purchase of this wonderful young dog named Murphy.  I look forward the next dog I am able to obtain from you.  Ann Ford - Real Estate Broker, Helena, Montana (406 431-5753)

P.S. You are welcome to use my name and phone number as a reference anytime.  I have nothing but glowing thoughts of you and your kennel - and I am deeply appreciative of everything you did to prepare Murphy for the world.  He is fabulous beyond belief.

Hi Dyanne,
Just wanted to say hello and tell you that Roscoe is doing so well and is
the best dog ever.  Our dog trainer even offered me a job because Roscoe is
so wonderful she thinks I had something to do with it.  Little does she
know, he picks things up right away!  I barely have to train him at all.
He's just naturally such a sweet dog... no chewing, no biting, no barking,
no jumping, no messing in the house, no shedding.  What more could you ask
for???  :)  He just turned 5 months on September 30 and weighs about 43 lbs.
His feet are so big, everyone says he looks like he has those big, furry
snow boots on!  :)  I think he's going to be a big boy, which is great!
Every time we go outside, people ask, "What kind of dog is that?"  They just
can't believe how cute and well-behaved he is.  I have recommended more
people to your site than I can count!!  Now I'm trying to convince my
husband to let me get a brother or sister for Roscoe next summer.  We'll
see... I'll let you know!! :)  We have a Chicago "doodle romp" this
Saturday.  I think Roscoe will love it.  I will try to take some good
pictures for you so you can see him!
Thanks again for such a wonderful dog!  I don't know how we ever lived
without him!

Dyanne,

The first thing I would like to do is to thank you for letting me know that my judgment is good.  I decided to choose you as my breeder based upon the feeling I got from your web site; and then I made my final decision based on the list of impeccable references, which you so willingly sent me.  You and Kim truly made the entire experiance a pleasure.

After reading some of the other "feedback letters," I would just like to address one issue for you.  Some of the other people who have purchased your dogs have said that you seem a bit disorganized or scattered when it comes to the business-end of things.  Hey, you even forgot to collect my deposit!!!  Yet after receiving my puppy and living with him for just a month, I can tell that you put the dogs' welfare before the business!  For this you should be praised and not criticized in any way.  You have your priorities in the right place, and I have a GREAT dog to show for it;  so thank you for putting the customer first by giving them the best animal possible!!!

I have to tell you just how wonderful my "Bandit" is doing.  Although I was worried about the long plane ride from Montana to New Jersey, Bandit jumped out of the carrier and into my daughter's arms with his tale wagging and his tongue licking her face.  He was just about house broken when we got him, thanks to your use of the doggy door and welpng box (the few mistakes he has made have been because we took him off his schedule or did not read the "I want to go out signs" he was giving us; and those few mistakes have all been liquid.  His temperment is wonderful, and his nipping is playful, which is to be expected of any pup.  He is the most beautiful puppy I have ever seen; and everyone asks, "What kind of dog is he and where did we get him?".   I am looking forward to training him because I can tell he is very intelligent and seems very willing to learn.  He has even won over my wife already (who, as you know, didn't even want a dog).  She picks him up like a baby, talks baby talk to him, and tells him how much she loves him!!

Finally, I just want to let you know that if you ever need a referance, I would be more than willing to take my time to answer any questions for future parents of your wonderful puppies.  For anyone reading this, all I can say is, "If you are thinking of buying a Goldendoodle, then Dyanne and heydood.com are the place for you."

Sincerely,

Walter Nolan

P.S. Just one more think I would like everyone to know...."MY DOOD RULES!!!!"

Hi Dyanne!   I am enclosing an article I wrote for the local newspapers.  I thought you might enjoy reading it. It was published in all the Messenger Post Newspapers which cover all the suburbs of Rochester NY.

“Mikey”

 The Four-Legged Therapist

by Dianne Hickerson

For many years, it has been on my heart to help bring the love of animals to people in nursing homes and adult living centers where pets are not allowed.  So many of these residents spent a lifetime loving their canine companions, and now face the possibility of never interacting with animals again.  I felt I could make a tremendous difference in their lives by visiting them with my dogs.  It has been clinically proven that through petting, touching and talking with dogs, patients’ blood pressure is lowered, stress is relieved and depression is eased.

After researching Therapy Dogs International, it became obvious to me that neither one of our two dogs would qualify as a Therapy Dog.  Fourteen year old Chelsea is too old and grumpy, and four year old Riley is too rambunctious.

Then, just one year ago this week, I happened upon a man walking a very unusual dog.  He introduced me to his Goldendoodle, a cross between a Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle.  I immediately went home to my computer to research the temperament of this breed.  I found that they were originally bred to be Seeing Eye dogs, and that they are intelligent, gentle and loving.

I clicked my mouse once more and up popped a picture of nine week old “Mikey.” This Goldendoodle puppy had already been sold to someone in Japan, and was to be shipped that very day.  However, the breeder had just discovered that the puppy would be quarantined for a month upon arrival in Japan, so she cancelled the deal and offered him for sale again.  Five minutes after listing him on her webpage, his photo popped up on my computer!

It was love at first sight, and two days later, Mikey arrived at Rochester airport from his home in Montana.  In my heart I knew that God had provided this puppy as an answer to my prayers.

Mikey learned quickly, graduating from Puppy Kindergarten and PetsMart University with honors.  He pursued his higher education at Lollypop Farm and earned a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) degree.  He was naturally gifted in gentleness and loving, and at ninety pounds, became known as the “gentle giant.’

Next came the challenge of qualifying as a Therapy Dog.  To do this he needed to take another class then pass a very difficult test.  I decided to have him take the test first, just to see what skills he should work on.  Well, not only did he pass the test without even taking the training class, but he received glowing comments about his perfect personality and suitability to be a therapy dog.  He greeted each wheelchair patient with a wag of the tail, a gentle paw shake, and his head on their lap.  Broad smiles beamed across the faces of the nursing home residents and of course Mikey did all his silly routines to make them smile even more.  I could tell that he brought a sparkle to their day, and perhaps rekindled old memories of previously owned pets.

So my prayers were answered.  Mikey is a certified four-legged therapist and as a team, he and I hope to bring comfort and companionship to many.

God’s hand can be seen in this entire story.  Had I not met the man with the Goldendoodle, I would never have found Mikey on the Internet.  Mikey might have been sent to Japan, or he might not have had the personality for becoming a therapy dog.  But God is faithful, and He worked all things together for the good of everyone.  And now so many will be touched by Mikey’s unconditional love and acceptance.
