Dearest Dyanne,
Whew, I'm done! The last puppy went home
today. I am keeping two - one for me and one for my friend. But I'm
going to keep them both for a while and get the potty training and basic
obedience done. Plus, she doesn't care which one she gets, so I'm going
to see who works best with Lexie.
First, I want to say thank you a million
times over for allowing me to breed Lexie and use Aramis. And how can I
ever thank you for all of your guidance and advice. You are absolutely
amazing, and my gratitude is beyond words. It was an adventure of a
lifetime. I learned so much about my weaknesses and strengths, and even
more about people. Everything you predicted came true, so I am more
convinced than ever that you are the wisest woman in the entire world of
breeding. I will be sending some really special people your way, as I am going to
let my ad run out through the paid-for period. But I know that, unlike
me, you can handle them.
Next, I want you to know that Aramis and
Lexie produced seriously phenomenal puppies. Of course, you are used to
poodle puppies being scary smart, but this litter blows my mind. I have
just been doing basic training with my two pups and I almost can't keep
up with how fast they learn things. The reports I am getting from owners
are amazing. You hear this all the time about your puppies, but of
course it is a new experience for me and I am overwhelmed to have
enriched all these people's lives with these incredibly beautiful and
smart puppies.
Lexie is doing great. She got really sorry
looking at the peak of nursing them, but is snapping back really quickly
now with just a saggy underside to show for all her efforts - I can
relate to that!
I'm attaching a photo of six of them - the
other two wouldn't cooperate! I am keeping the golden girl in the middle
who looks like an F1 and the sassy little red teddy bear on the far
left. Miranda is in love with the golden girl, so she'll probably be our
final choice.
